<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed equalization circuit capable of performing distributed equalization (Electronic Dispersion Compensator) effectively corresponding to multi-rate transmission, and provide an optical transceiver using the distributed equal circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The distributed equalization circuit 29 includes a plurality of delayers 31 connected vertically for giving delay to an electric signal input, multipliers 32 for multiplying a value of an electric signal output from each of the plurality of delayers 31 by a tap coefficient to output an electric signal after the multiplication, and a summer 33 for summing up a value of the electric signal output from each of the multipliers 32 to output a signal indicative of the total value. In addition, the distributed equalization circuit 29 has a tap coefficient controller 36, which selects a tap coefficient determined from an error signal or a fixed tap coefficient established beforehand for usage, according to an input rate signal of a transmission rate. Wherein, the error signal is difference between a signal showing the total value output from the summer 33 and a value beforehand established as a signal after determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
