PORTABLE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal that properly reduces current consumption when a virtual keyboard is used.

SOLUTION: The portable terminal includes: an image projection part 16 for projecting an operation image 18 that virtually expresses an operation object; a selection detecting part 15 which detects a position selected on the image 18; a data processing part which performs data processing corresponding the position detected by the operation position detecting part 15; a condition storage part which stores off-conditions for turning off projection of the image 18; and a control part which turns off projection of the image projection part 16 when the off-conditions are satisfied.
