<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector and its assembling method, capable of reducing the number of components and assembling man-hours. <P>SOLUTION: The connector is provided with a holder 100 having a base part 110 and a body part 120; a contact 200 penetrating the body part 120 in a front-to-back direction; connection terminals 300a, 300b penetrating a rear end part of the base part 110 in vertical directions; and a substrate 410 arranged at a rear part of the body part 120. The contact 200 includes a connection part 210, protruding backward from the body part 120. The connection terminals 300a, 300b include connection parts 320a, 320b, protruding upward from a rear end part of the base part 110 and bent so that their tips point to a direction identical to that of the connection part 210.
