PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further narrow the installation space of a waste heat boiler and to reduce the limitation of the installation space. SOLUTION: The waste heat boiler includes a boiler body 11 constituted so that waste gas discharged from a first waste gas outlet 5 of a heat source 2 is introduced from a waste gas inlet 17 and is discharged from a second waste gas outlet 18, and a water pipe 21 is arranged within an upper waste gas flow passage 15 and a lower waste gas flow passage 16. The waste heat boiler further includes a placement table 4 having a placement part 28 on which the boiler body 11 is placed and a storage space 29 positioned below the placement part 28 for storing a water supply pump 32, water supply system piping 33 and water discharge system piping 34. The height of the placement table 4 is set so that the height of the waste gas inlet 17 is equal to that of the first waste gas outlet 5, directly interconnecting the waste gas inlet 17 with the first waste gas outlet 5.
