PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slow operation open/close of a simple structure excellent in response which reaches valve opening actuation after giving a valve opening signal (air pressure). SOLUTION: The slow operation open/close valve includes an actuation member 34 which actuates a valve body 24 that opens and closes a flow passage by contacting and separating from a valve seat 23, a spring means 35 which urges the actuation member 34 in the direction of closing the valve, a valve opening pressure chamber 39 which exerts a force in the valve opening direction on the actuation member 34 against the spring means 35, a manifold 54 provided independently from the valve-opening pressure chamber 39, an adjustment valve 60 which permits an air flow from the manifold 54 to the valve opening pressure chamber 39 until the pressure of the valve opening pressure chamber 39 reaches a predetermined reserve pressure and closes when the pressure inside the valve opening pressure chamber 39 reaches the reserve pressure, a flow rate adjustment valve 70 which supplies a minute amount of air from the manifold 54 to the valve opening pressure chamber 39 after the pressure inside the valve opening pressure chamber 39 reaches the reserve pressure, and an exhaust valve 80 which exhausts air inside the valve opening pressure chamber 39 to the manifold 54 when the pressure of the manifold 54 drops below that of the valve opening pressure chamber 39.
