PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery increasing a cycle life thereof. SOLUTION: A case 2 and an electrode assembly sealed in the case are formed in a waveform or a curved shape. The electrode assembly is formed by laminating a plurality of electrode pairs or winding an electrode pair. The electrode pair comprises a sheet-like positive electrode and a sheet-like negative electrode which are sandwiched with a sheet-like separator interposed therebetween. The positive electrode has a sheet-like collector with which a sheet-like positive electrode active material makes close contact, and the negative electrode has a sheet-like collector with which a sheet-like negative electrode active material makes close contact.
