PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus capable of shortening a time for raising an ink temperature to an appropriate temperature. SOLUTION: A perfecting printing apparatus 1 includes: a circulating part 19 having an electromagnetic valve 27 switching either a heating circulating path C1-C2 for circulating ink 50 while it is heated by a heater 28 or a cooling circulating path C1-C3 for circulating the ink while it is cooled by a cooler 29; a peripheral temperature sensor 7 for measuring a peripheral temperature Ta and outputting it; and a control part 8 for setting the circulating path of the ink 50 by controlling the electromagnetic valve 27 based on the peripheral temperature Ta input from the peripheral temperature sensor 7 after image printing is finished.
