PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a compact mobile terminal having at least 20 or more small character key pads, characters of the key pads can be recognized but it is difficult to match tips of fingers of a user therewith and after long-time operation, fatigue and stress may be accumulated. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal includes a means for changing a level of color brightness approximately in at least the center of neighboring character key pads approximately in an uneven manner alternately to an approximate bottom and an approximate peak, and includes a means for changing a level of the color brightness of a corresponding character arranged approximately in the center of the neighboring character key pads approximately in an uneven manner to an approximate peak and to an approximate bottom oppositely with the brightness of the character key pad. Furthermore, the mobile terminals also includes a means for varying a change in the brightness of the character key pad approximately in a wavy manner between the approximate peak and the approximate bottom. These means allow a user to easily match tips of fingers with small key pads and to obtain the effect of reducing fatigue and stress after long-time operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
