PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which easily eliminates a carrying failure of a recording medium, while reducing its installation space, in the image recorder for printing again on the image-recorded recording medium. SOLUTION: A second carrying mechanism 8 includes a constitution arranging a carrying unit 81 having respectively a driving roller 84, a driven roller 83 and a carrier belt 82 in a row. The respective driving rollers 84 are connected to a driving motor via a one-way clutch. The respective carrying units 81 have a light transmissive plate 85. The respective carrying units 81 can be opened and closed between a carrying position and a maintenance position by the action of a link mechanism and a gas-spring. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
