The valve unit has a valve for switching pressurizing medium flow, and a connection plate (1) for supplying or discharging pressurizing medium. A connecting device attaches a hose (9) to the valve unit in an area of the connection plate and is formed as an integral component of the connection plate. The connecting device has an attachment part (4) inserted into the connection plate that accommodates a holding device for the hose. The holding device has a release ring (7) inserted into the attachment part.
