<p>Disclosed is an imaging device that enables the viewing of an area exceeding the framing range of an image at the time of a shot after the shot has been taken, a control method for the imaging device, an imaging system and a program. An imaging device (10) equipped with a digital zoom function is provided with an image acquisition processor (21) for acquiring image data within a prescribed range (image range A: the entire image range of the image sensor), an image processing controller (23) for retaining the information from live view range B which is smaller than the prescribed range, an image display processor (24) for digitally zooming in on and displaying the part of the acquired image data corresponding to the live view range B, and a data storage processor (22) for adding the data from live view range B which is retained by the image processing controller (23) to the image data acquired by the image acquisition processor (21) and saving it in response to a shooting instruction from the image processing controller (23).</p> |
