CONTENT DISPLAY DEVICE, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content display device improved so as to present a marked region as a worm-eaten spot (mask) according to various conditions by marking part of the display area of an electronic book.

SOLUTION: The content display device includes an overall control unit 11 and a display unit 12. The overall control unit 11 includes: a region designation means 11a for enabling a user to designate and mark an arbitrary region at a point of time when content is displayed on a picture; an additional information application means 11b for applying additional information to the marked region; a designated region function switching means 11c for comparing the value of the additional information with the value of the designation information arbitrarily and preliminarily designated by the user, and for switching the function of the marked region; and a designated region display means 11d for displaying the marked region on the basis of the switched function.
