<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device rotatable at a larger angle, and a mobile electronic device using the hinge device. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge device is equipped with: a main shaft; a driven member installed at the main shaft; a main driving member slidably mounted to the shaft; and a spring mounted to the main shaft to provide the main driving member with resilience. A first cam surface having a recess is installed at one end of the driven member, and a second cam surface engaged with the first cam surface and having a projection is installed at one end of the main driving member. After the first cam surface is rotated by a predetermined angle relative to the second cam surface, the projection is enclosed in the recess, and the first cam surface is then rotated relative to the second cam surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
