PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of display quality, even if a length of wiring for electrically connecting a gate line 11 with a gate driver differs by gate line. SOLUTION: A display device is configured such that a length of a gate routing wire 18 for electrically connecting the gate line 11 for transmitting a scanning signal in a thin film transistor 10 formed at a display pixel with a gate output terminal 19 is different by gate line 11. The device includes a common line 15 that overlaps at a predetermined region across an insulating layer between the gate line and the gate routing wire 18. The area of overlap between the common line 15 and a shorter gate routing wire 18 is larger than that between the common line 15 and a longer gate routing wire 18, between each gate routing wire 18. Thereby, each gate routing wire 18 has mutually equal time constant from the gate line 11 corresponding to the gate routing wire 18 to the gate output terminal 19 corresponding to the gate routing wire 18.
