PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organophotoreceptor that has high sensitivity to short wavelength laser light, can form a high-density electrostatic latent image, and is free of film peeling or the like; and to provide an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge using the organophotoreceptor. SOLUTION: The organophotoreceptor includes an intermediate layer, a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer, successively layered on an electroconductive support, wherein the intermediate layer contains inorganic fine particles and a polyamide imide resin, and the charge generating layer contains a condensed polycyclic compound.
