PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior building material which maintains a photocatalyst function for a long period while preventing the decomposition of a base material and an overcoat layer caused by a photocatalyst and moreover excels in a surface design and functionality. SOLUTION: The interior building material 20 is formed with a photocatalyst layer 23 on the upper face of the base material 11 by coating. The photocatalyst layer 23 includes the photocatalyst 14, and a binder 26 having air permeability and light transmitting property, and wrapping the photocatalyst 14 and sticking the photocatalyst 14 to the upper face of the base material 11.
