PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and a control device of a magnet working machine and the magnet working machine, for efficiently performing magnet work, by surely preventing overturning of the magnet working machine. SOLUTION: A horizontal position Py of a lifting magnet 11 is determined from an angle and the length of a boom 5, and an angle and the length of an arm 6, and a maximum attraction quantity of an attraction object corresponding to the horizontal position Py of this lifting magnet 11 is determined, and an electric current T' supplied to an electromagnet of the lifting magnet 11 is controlled in response to the horizontal position Py of the lifting magnet 11 so that the attraction object of the maximum attraction quantity is attracted to and held by the lifting magnet 11.
