PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact type generator for a bicycle reducing a weight load of the bicycle and easy in post-attachment. SOLUTION: Permanent magnets 8 and 9 provided on the iron core 6 of a power generating coil 10 are facingly disposed to a spoke 4 of a front wheel or a rear wheel of a bicycle 1. The spoke 4 passes through the front faces of the S-pole of the permanent magnet 8 and the N-pole of the permanent magnet 9, thereby generating an alternating current in the power generating coil 10.
