PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine which enables a player to retain a will for continuation of a game even after finishing a variable time-shortening mode. SOLUTION: In a Pachinko game machine, during a prescribed period before finishing the variable time-shortening mode, for instance during a variation period of three rotations before finishing the variable time-shortening mode, by referring a special mission table, probability that a display pattern accompanied with a mission performance is selected and displayed on a performance display device becomes high (S50-S52). Even when the variable time-shortening mode is finished, when the mission performance is successively continued, a background image common to a period during the variable time-shortening mode is displayed.
