PURPOSE: A solar battery and manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce an effective area of a dead zone area of a solar battery cell, thereby increasing optical efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A rear electrode layer(200) is formed on a substrate. A light absorbing layer(300) is formed on the rear electrode layer. A buffer layer(500) is formed on the light absorbing layer. A penetration hole penetrates the light absorbing layer and the buffer layer so that the rear electrode layer is exposed. A roughness area is formed on the rear electrode layer. A frontal electrode layer is formed on the buffer layer including the penetration hole so that the frontal electrode layer contacts the roughness area. |
