WIDEBAND RF RECEIVER IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTMEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A wideband RF receiver in a wireless communication system is provided to prevent the generation of an interference in a receiver. CONSTITUTION: A mixer changes an RF signal with a f(SG) frequency into an IF(Intermediate Frequency) signal with f(1F) frequency. One or more PLL(Phase Locked Loop) offers a local oscillator signal to the mixer. A control block(326) determines whether a half IF signal with a f(SG)-f(1F/2) frequency exists or not. If the half IF signal exists, the control block controls one or more PLL in order to generate a second oscillation frequency which is bigger than the first oscillation frequency.
