PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of an antenna of a radio terminal in which two cases are connected to be openable by means of a hinge. SOLUTION: A hinge unit (100) includes: an electroconductive shaft (101); an insulating holder (102) into which one end of the shaft (101) is inserted; an insulating case (103) which is arranged between the other end of the shaft (101) and the holder (102) and is penetrated by the shaft (101) for rotation about the axis of the shaft (101); a conductive first terminal (104); exposed from the outside surface of the holder (102); a conductive second terminal (105) exposed from the outside surface of the case; and an electrode which is conductive, to either the first terminal (104) or to the second terminal (105), while being coupled with the shaft (101) in an electrostatically capacitive manner.
