PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent suction of air from a fuel supply pipe even when fuel stored in a fuel tank is unevenly distributed to any of the front, rear, right and left of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A second sub-tank 5 is provided at the upper part of a first sub-tank 3 installed in the fuel tank 1 and the upper end of the second sub-tank 5 is arranged at a position lower by a depth h1 from the upper end of the first sub-tank 3. An upper end rear part of the second sub-tank 5 is formed with a gutter portion 5a extending to the same level as the outer periphery of the first sub-tank 3 and the upper end front part is formed with a groove portion 5b. Even when fuel stored in the second sub-tank 5 is unevenly distributed to the front, right or left of the vehicle body and spills out, the fuel is allowed to flow down into the first sub-tank 3 by the inner wall of the first sub-tank 3 and the fuel is secured. Even when the fuel leans to the rear and flows out from the gutter portion 5a, the fuel flows into the first sub-tank 3 from a communication opening 3b bored in the rear side bottom of the first sub-tank 3 and therefore the fuel in the first sub-tank 3 is secured.
