PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently load/collect articles into/from a processing machine. SOLUTION: This article management device includes storage boxes for storing articles, key storage boxes for storing a plurality of keys and individually locking/unlocking key holders for the plurality of keys stored therein, and a storage part for storing storage box information coordinating the storage boxes with the keys to be stored in the key storage boxes. A touch panel LCD is allowed to select one of the plurality of storage boxes. When one of the storage boxes is selected with operation on the touch panel LCD, a loading/collecting destination specifying part uses the storage box information for specifying the key coordinated with the storage box and a display control part informs of a storage position where the key specified by the loading/collecting destination specifying part is stored in the key storage box.
