PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin dryer canvas for paper making particularly having both rigidity and wear resistance while holding a variety of physical properties and functions such as running stability, wet-heat resistance, heat resistance, favorable surface properties, and appropriate air permeability. SOLUTION: In the canvas, a position balance of large entangling wefts 14 and small entangling wefts 13 in the thickness direction of a fabric is intentionally deformed. More specifically, an average position Y-Y of the center of the large entangling wefts 14 in the thickness direction is shifted to the backside of the fabric relative to an average position X-X of the center of the small entangling wefts 13 adjacent to the wefts in the thickness direction. Hence, the rigidity and wear resistance are enhanced by increasing a warp thickness and a weft thickness without greatly increasing a body thickness of the canvas. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
