PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin composition and a molding which maintain long-wave ultraviolet shielding effect for a long time. SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin composition contains a compound represented by general formula (1), wherein R<SP>1a</SP>to R<SP>1e</SP>are each mutually independently a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent other than -OH, at least one of the substituents is a substituent of which theσp value according to Hammett's rule is positive, and substituents may be linked together to form a ring.
