PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving module which eliminates the need of installing a connection terminal to be used for achieving an optional function, when necessary. SOLUTION: The receiving module is provided in one of receivers having various specifications and executes a predetermined operation. The receiving module includes a device group for executing the operation and connection terminals to be used for connection between the device group and a body of the receiver. The connection terminals comprise optional terminals and essential terminals. The connection terminals are arranged so that a terminal train group formed by arranging substantially in parallel a plurality of terminal trains each of which includes a plurality of connection terminals arrayed in a line, is arranged along one side of an outer edge of a substrate. At least one terminal train in the terminal train group is an optional terminal train including no essential terminal.
