PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for cooling sintered ores by which members composing the cooling device 10 can be prevented from being deteriorated or broken due to the leaving of the high temperature sintered ores P with respect to the method and a device for cooling sintered ores, by which the stacked sintered ores P during conveyance are cooled by ventilation after sintering. SOLUTION: During the conveyance, the component of the gas, which is allowed to pass through the stacked sintered ores P during the conveyance, in the direction of passing through the stacked sintered ores P during conveyance is made in reverse direction.
