The present invention discloses a simple method for producing polyols based on starter compounds containing amino groups, said method requiring no reprocessing. The term polyols, when not explicitly specified, can refer to polyether polyols, or to polyether ester polyols, or to polyether ester amide polyols. In addition, the invention relates to polyols that are obtained by the method according to the invention and to the use of said polyols in the production of polyurethane materials.
