The converter has a centering element (24) centrally and rotationally arranged at a side surface (22) of a converter housing unit (20). An element intermediate region (30) is balanced between a centering unit (28) and an element mounting area (32) with a boundary edge surface (34). The centering element is connected to the housing unit on the mounting area. Interior magnitude of the boundary edge surface of the intermediate region formed from an inner edge surface and an outer edge surface (36) is greater than that of a comparable edge surface of a cylindrical element intermediate region.
