The system (1) has a bus bar (3) provided with parallel current bars (5) and a parallel conductor (11). An adapter (6) is attached at the bus bar by a locking device (15) for mechanically fixing the adapter at the parallel conductor. The locking device is designed in such a manner that a contact element (16a) of the adapter is electrically connected with the parallel conductor while fixing the adapter. The adapter comprises a bolt (16), which locks the adapter by motion between two positions with the parallel conductor. The adapter has a connection device (14) for a connector (18).
