<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine allowing the operation cost thereof to be reduced by achieving reduction in power consumption for generating water vapor to be supplied to the inside of a rotary drum. <P>SOLUTION: Water supply from a water supply source is temporarily stored in a water tank 6, and the stored water in the water tank 6 is delivered by a small amount each by the operation of a constant rate pump 7 configured as a tube pump, supplied to a steam generator 8, heated and evaporated by being in contact with a hot plate 82 inside the housing 80 of the steam generator 8, and supplied through a steam pipe 51 and a steam jetting port 52 to the inside of the rotary drum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
