RADIO-SYNCHRONOUS SIGNAL RECEIVER FOR ADJUSTING TIME BASE AND METHOD FOR ACTIVATING THE RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio-synchronous signal receiver with simple design including a single local oscillator stage and adjusted to automatically receive radio-synchronous signals with different frequencies.

SOLUTION: A frequency conversion unit 7 includes a frequency local oscillator stage 10 for supplying an oscillation signal Sm, a mixer unit 4 for mixing an incoming signal with the oscillation signal Sm for generating an intermediate frequency signal IF, a bandpass filter 5 for filtering the intermediate frequency signal IF, and a demodulator 6 for receiving the filtered intermediate frequency signal IF and supplying a data signal. The local oscillator stage 10 is configured automatically by a control signal Cm from a processing unit 8 to adapt the frequency of the oscillation signal Sm in accordance with frequency of the incoming radio-synchronous signal, so that the frequency of the intermediate frequency signal IF is within the frequency band of the bandpass filter 5.
