<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a clutch avoiding a sudden start of a vehicle when there is no intention of starting in restarting an internal combustion engine while reducing fuel consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The control device 30 of a clutch is mounted in a vehicle with a clutch 2 arranged on a power transmission path between the internal combustion engine 1 and a transmission 3 for controlling the clutch 2. It controls a clutch actuator 21 arranged separately from a clutch pedal 13 in accordance with the accelerator operation of the internal combustion engine 1 when the shift position of the transmission 3 is other than neutral, and the clutch pedal 13 is operated to an engagement side after the internal combustion engine 1 during halts is started automatically as the clutch pedal 13 operating the disconnection of the clutch 2 is in operation from a non-engagement side to the engagement side.
