<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven vehicle capable of running on the power of a motor while having a pedal for manual running. <P>SOLUTION: A motor 4 is driven according to a pedalling force applied to a crankshaft 12. The shaft of the motor 4 is joined to a sun gear 25, and a ring gear 26 is integrated with an output shaft 14. A carrier 28 for supporting planetary gears 27 is interlocked with the crankshaft 12. The carrier 28 is supported on a unit case through a one-way clutch 32 which allows the forward rotation and restrains the reverse rotation. Forward and reverse rotations are input from the crankshaft 12 into the carrier 28. The motor 4 is driven in the reverse direction to act a torque on the carrier 28 in the reverse direction, and to rotate the carrier 28 in the forward direction by the rotation of the planetary gears 27.
