<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processor suppressing the influence of color shift or the like caused by afterglow and formation of color boundaries in the display area of a display. <P>SOLUTION: The video signal processor 100 includes: a motion vector detection part 103 for detecting a motion vector for each block of a processing target frame; a disorder degree calculation part 102 for calculating, for each partial area including a plurality of blocks, disorder degree of a plurality of motion vectors of the partial area; a determination part 108 for determining, for each partial area, whether the partial area is a first area or a second area larger in disorder degree than the first area; and a signal correction part 110 for correcting a video signal so as to suppress the influence of the afterglow of a preceding frame and outputting the corrected video signal. The signal correction part 110 corrects the video signal of the first area by using a pixel of the first area or a motion vector of each block and outputs the corrected video signal, and corrects the video signal of the second area by using a light-emitting quantity indicated by the video signal of the preceding frame without using any motion vector and outputs the corrected video signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
