PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf device wholly constructed to save a space while allowing a one-sheet picking device to be freely put into and out of a shelf body. SOLUTION: The shelf device includes the shelf body 3 having a plurality of stages of shelf parts 9 into and out of which pallets 5, 7 are freely put, and an elevator device 11 provided movable up and down on one side thereof for putting the pallets 5, 7 into and out of the shelf parts 9. It further includes the one-sheet picking device 19 provided on one side of the shelf body 3 so as to be freely put into and out of the shelf body 3 for picking one of sheets of workpieces W stacked on the pallet 5. Inside a pair of upper and lower guide rails 15 for guiding the elevator device 11 up and down, a pair of horizontal guide rails 17 are provided for guiding the one-sheet picking device 19 to be freely put into and out of the shelf body 3. The horizontal guide rails 17 are extensible. The one-sheet picking device 19 is movable from the outside of the shelf body 3 to a one-sheet picking position where one of the sheets of workpieces is picked and a sorting position where the workpieces are sorted after machined.
