BROADCASTING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING CONTENTS WHICH RELATE WITH REAL-TIME BROADCATING

PURPOSE: A broadcasting system for providing a content related with a real time broadcasting is provided to offer VOD(Video On Demand) information with a real time broadcasting VOD information. CONSTITUTION: A content management server(126) stores VOD content about one or more real time contents. If a certain set-top box is about to receive a real time broadcasting content, the content management server checks VOD contents about the real time broadcasting content. The content management server checks whether a subscriber watched the VOD contents about the real time broadcasting content or not. The content management server transmits the checked result to the set-top box with the VOD contents.
