Each relay comprises a closed container containing an electrolyte 55, 56 which when current is passed through it produces a gas and when a light source 53, 54 is energized causes a pressure increase in the gas to cause a diaphragm 57, 58 to bulge outwardly. The diaphragms 57, 58 are connected to fluidistor 50 by control channels 61, 62 and the pressure charge in these channels caused by a diaphragm bulging outwards deflects the fluid flow from one channel 59, 60 to the other.</p> |
