<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain air bag device in which the twist of a cushion in the assembling of the curtain air bag device is prevented, and a behavior in inflation and deployment is stabilized. <P>SOLUTION: The curtain air bag device 100 stored above a cabin side surface includes: the cushion 140 extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, stored in a state of being wound from the lower end to the upper end, and inflating and deploying downward when gas is supplied; and a long protector 180 covering the cushion 140.
