<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerobic composting fermentation apparatus which solves a new problem that clogging of a material to be fermented occurs at the center of a fermentation apparatus and failures become likely to occur while having such advantages that a small motive energy is used when a carriage equipped with horizontal rotation stirring devices is rotated around the central part in the longitudinal direction, failures of the fermentation apparatus are reduced, and the fermentation apparatus copes with the upsizing. <P>SOLUTION: The directions of the center lines in each other's longitudinal direction of a carriage 5 and stirring devices 4 are aligned with each other, and the material 9 to be fermented is collected at the outer periphery of the fermentation apparatus 1 and discharged directly from an opening part 203 provided in a fermentation container 2, or the fermentation container is used as an inner body part 2 and an outer body part 3 is provided at the outer side of the inner body part 2, and the substance 9 to be fermented is sent out to the outer body part 3 from an opening part 203 of the inner body part 2 and discharged to the outside of the fermentation apparatus 1 from the outer body part 3.
