PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain uniqueness of an OSID of each OS or each client computer while ensuring convenience of installation when a large number of client computers are used. SOLUTION: The security monitoring program newly generates an OSID for identifying an OS when the OS of the client computer starts, and transmits it to a predetermined security management device. When the security monitoring program extracts security setting of the OS and transmits it to the security management device, the security monitoring program transmits the OSID of the OS as well.
