PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus-protocol converting device having a burst transfer function, which prevents data transfer performance from being deteriorated when a command is executed by an external memory controller managed by an LBA. SOLUTION: When data are transferred between an external memory controller and an external memory device 40 via a DMA bus by a data transfer control unit 120 provided between a primary bus IF control unit 110 and a secondary bus IF control unit 130, a FIFO memory provided at the primary bus IF control unit 110 as a communication buffer is used in a ring buffer. The ring buffer is allocated as a virtual memory. A value of size of data transferred from the external memory controller 10 is transmitted to the secondary bus IF control unit 130. Bus master DMA operation is performed once between the secondary bus IF control unit 130 and the virtual memory, and at the same time, data transfer for bus protocol conversion is performed.
