PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a pharmaceutical composition for inducing or accelerating a healing process of skin wound. SOLUTION: The method includes administering, to the skin wound, a therapeutically effective amount of an adipokine, an adipocyte modulator, an adipocyte, a cell capable of differentiating into an adipocyte, or a cell capable of secreting an adipokine, thereby inducing or accelerating the healing process of the skin wound.
