PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problems that the ejection timing of ink in an image recording device is adjusted based on a predetermined pattern recorded on a recording medium in low speed conveying, but a difference in ejection speed becomes large during high speed recording due to individual differences in the manufacturing so that the deviation of a landing position in a conveyance direction occurs. SOLUTION: A deviation amount of a landing position in the conveyance direction of a recording medium is measured by using conveyance speeds of two or more different recording mediums. The correction of landing deviation is performed by acquiring an adjustment value or a deviation amount for the correction of the landing deviation. Accordingly, in the image recording device and the method of adjusting an image therefor, it is possible to perform, with high precision, the correction of landing deviation in the conveyance direction with respect to the conveyance speed during actual recording.
