PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly-reliable agglutination measurement to output a new measurement value allowing objective evaluation of generation of an aggregate of platelet or the like, by combining a transmitted light measuring method and a laser particle scattering measuring method, while effectively utilizing both features. SOLUTION: This device includes transmissivity measuring means (14, 22, 23, etc.) for measuring the rate of transmitted light of a platelet-rich plasma sample 16 stored in a sample cell 13, as well as scattered light intensity measuring means (11, 12, 17-20, etc.) for measuring the scattered light intensity of the platelet-rich plasma sample by laser particle scattering measurement. A computer 21 receiving the measurement results of both measuring means selects a different arithmetic expression based on the correlation value between the transmissivity measured by the transmissivity measuring means and the scattering intensity measured by the scattered light intensity measuring means and on the transmissivity measured by the transmissivity measuring means, calculates an evaluation value of the platelet agglutination ability by using the scattering intensity measured by the scattered light intensity measuring means, and outputs the result.
