PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of individually controlling a plurality of lighting devices while operating without using a push button or a slid switch in a remote control device. SOLUTION: The remote control device 1 is provided with a housing 10 with a square pillar shape. A wireless signal transmitted by the remote control device 1 includes: a channel number according to which of the side faces of the housing 10 faces upward; and control information according to inclination of an axis direction of the housing 10 to a horizontal direction. Each lighting device is operated based on the control information contained in the wireless signal only when the wireless signal containing a predetermined channel number is received. Different channel numbers are respectively set for the plurality of lighting devices, and when the remote control device 1 is properly inclined, by turning upward a side face according to the channel number of the lighting device desired to be operated, the lighting devices can be individually controlled.
