PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control device for a table turning five-axis machine tool for finding a recommended machining center position, which is the position on a designated program coordinate system and minimizes a linear axial movement amount occurring from a distance between the tool end point and the table turning center and a rotation axis movement amount when being brought close to the table turning center, and finding a recommended machining position changing amount for bringing the recommended machining center position close to the table turning center. SOLUTION: The numerical control device for table turning five-axis machine tool reads an instruction program as a machining program by a program reading means 10, analyzes the machining program by a program analysis means 11 to create an interpolation data, performs interpolation for each interpolation period by an interpolation means 12 to find an interpolation position of a control point, and drives a servo of each axis so that a machine works in the interpolation position of the control point. A recommended machining center position calculation means 14 and a recommended machining position changing amount calculation means 15 are called from the program analysis means 11 to perform calculation for finding the recommended machining center position and the recommended machining position changing amount.
