PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow passengers in an elevator to manually and reliably disengage an electric lock from an outer door provided to an hoistway in a well operable manner, in emergency when a power failure or a trouble occurs in a domestic elevator. SOLUTION: This unlocking structure has the electric lock 30 mounted to the outer door 6 for locking it to the hoistway 2. It includes an unlocking body 37 provided to an inside face 6b of the outside door 6 for linkage with the unlocking operation of the electric lock 30, a through-hole 15b formed at a portion of an inner door 15 opposite to the unlocking body 37, and an operation rod 38. The operation rod 38 has an abutting portion for abutting on the inside face 6b of the inner door 15. The operation rod 38 is inserted through the inside of the inner door 15 into the through-hole 15b, and the front end of the operation rod 38 is engaged with the unlocking body 37 while the abutting portion abuts on the inside face 15b of the inner door 15.
