PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software error detection tool that reads a source code and detects an error outside an electronic apparatus without changing an internal configuration of the electronic apparatus in order to detect a source code error of software in the electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: A user stores hardware data and software data of an electronic apparatus into a HW data folder 1 and a SW data folder 2 of a software error detection tool 200. The user inputs a HW/SW specification (an errata list) to a HW/SW specification table 6. The user inputs retrieval condition data based on a language of the software data or retrieval condition data based on a language of the hardware data.
